Woodworking Class Sets

Woodworkers Academy wants to help your school develop its own woodworking program!

We offer a diverse array of resources to create and sustain an immersive hands-on woodworking program for generations of students to learn from:

  1. Tool & Material Provision and Replenishment: We supply schools with the tools and materials necessary to conduct their Woodworkers Academy program, as well as offer material replenishment as often as needed.

  2. Safety Measures: Safety should be prioritized in woodworking. We provide schools with safety protocols, guidelines, and protective gear to ensure a secure learning environment for students and teachers.

  3. Curriculum Development: We design custom woodworking curricula specifically tailored to elementary & middle school students, incorporating age-appropriate projects, safety guidelines, and fun interactive instruction styles.

  4. Teacher Training: Our team hosts workshops and training sessions to empower educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively guide students of all ages and skill levels.

  5. Support Network: We establish a network of support for participating schools, offering ongoing assistance, advice, and troubleshooting to address any challenges they may encounter.

  6. Community Engagement: We foster connections with local woodworking enthusiasts, and businesses to provide our participating schools with additional support, and opportunities.

  7. Evaluation and Improvement: We regularly assess the effectiveness of the program through feedback from educators & students, making adjustments and improvements to better meet the needs of participating schools.

By implementing these strategies, we aim to provide elementary schools with a comprehensive package of resources, empowering them to establish and sustain a successful woodworking program for current and future generations of students.
